Our Mission: Ignite Imagination & Inspire Learning

The North Iowa Children’s Museum (NICM) is poised to become a transformational regional asset, serving families, schools and visitors across North Iowa through hands-on, play-based learning.

Since 2022, NICM has served more than 25,000 children and families across North Iowa through mobile exhibits and pop-up learning experiences.

Our Mission & Vision

Benefiting residents & tourists

According to a 2024 feasibility study, NICM has the potential to attract a stabilized annual attendance of approximately 53,000 visitors.

Clear Lake’s strong tourism profile positions NICM to capture both local and visitor markets, strengthening year-round economic activity in a destination community that currently has limited child-focused indoor recreation options.
